Frequently Asked Questions

Polymer clay is a versatile, oven-baked modeling material composed of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastics, resins, and coloring agents that's been used by artists and makers for decades. It's lightweight, durable, non-toxic, and capable of incredibly fine detail — which is why it's so well suited for miniatures, jewelry, and small decorative pieces.
I mainly use the brand Sculpey, with most of my work made with their Premo line, I also use their Souffle line too where appropriate. Every piece in my shop is shaped, textured, and finished by hand before being baked and sealed.

Polymer clay is durable but delicate — a little care goes a long way.
Avoid bending or applying pressure to clay pieces
Do not wear while showering, swimming, or sleeping
Keep away from perfume, hairspray, lotions, and harsh chemicals
Store in a dry place out of direct sunlight
Do not toss loose into a bag where pieces may jostle against hard objects
To clean, gently wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth or cotton ball and dry immediately — do not soak or submerge in water
Pieces with spinning elements are handmade and tested, but not indestructible — spin gently and do not force
These are handmade decorative pieces, not toys — please keep out of reach of children

I source hypoallergenic findings whenever possible, but some components may not be due to cost or availability. Any listing with non-hypoallergenic findings will say so in the product details.
If you have a specific sensitivity or question before purchasing, please don't hesitate to reach out.
